David, a young shepherd takes up the challenge to face against the Philistine giant Goliath. Everyone told him he can’t fight the giant because he’s just a kid. David gathers five stones in a slingshot. Now, imagine a boxing ring - David VS Goliath. After engaging in smack talk, David takes the stones from his pouch, loads it into the slingshot and hurls it. The stones hit Goliath’s forehead (between both eyes) and immediately he falls dead on the floor. Unexpectedly David defeats Goliath and everyone is shocked. Victory! David vs Goliath is inspired by the bible. In modern-day it is used to describe an underdog or a weak opponent (David) against an overachiever or the stronger (Goliath). This perfectly describes how underdogs can fight 'Against All Odds' to overcome challenges in the form of Goliaths. In today's challenging COVID crisis humanity itself is against all odds.
